How are we doing ladies? I finally got back on track. In two weeks I've lost 10 pounds thank God. Feels so good to see some results. I've just changed my diet and am eating only healthy yummy foods. I am walking a few miles a day at least. I need to do crunches everyday but I forget! I have 20 or 25 more to go I think. I had a first goal set which I am 2 pounds away from. My reward is to use a gift card I have for a massage and facial!!! Yay!!! I made my appt for next weekend assuming I'll have lost at least 2 pounds by then.
Then I want to be at 150 by July 20th. We'll see how that goes! My cousin is getting married that day and I will be allowing myself a great dress if I reach my goal.
Then when I'm done.... which I may stop at 140 or so, I want a spray tan, hair done, and bathingsuit!
How are you doing? What are your goals? What are you doing to get there?
Re: Weight/fitness check in
Holy cow! How do you lose 10lbs in 2weeks? That's insane. Good work.
I missed my first goal, which was to be 8lbs down by June 2d. I'm only down 3 =0( I keep re-weighing, hoping it is just a fluke, but no such luck!
I do have to say that my clothes are fitting better/looser and that's what I really care about. And I don't really trust scales that much anyway.
Next goal was to be down 11lbs by 6/16. I don't see that happening. So, I think I might just bump my goals up by one to catch up.
I'm basically just counting calories, which I totally hate doing. But it keeps me focused. I aim to be at about 1300 calories/day.

I just stopped eating junk. I was eating really bad. I now have coffee and cereal or oatmeal in the morning. For lunch I have hard boiled egg, string cheese, and usually something leftover from dinner. And dinner I have been cooking recipes from hungry girl. Highly recommend it! And I use the my fitness pal app. I could work out harder. I'm walking 2 or 3 miles a day and try to do a minimum of 200 crunches per day as well.
It'll come off! Just keep at it. It's hard. I slacked for months and just got so annoye with myself that I kicked it back into gear
You ladies are doing awesome!
I'm at 155 now. Want to be down 10 to 15 pounds. Not sure when, just sooner rather than later.
I gained 2 pounds this week despite counting calories, going on the elliptical for 45 minutes, 100 crunches, and 50 squats 5 days a week. So frustrated! I have cut out all junk except for one cookie or very small bowl of ice cream once a day. I eat a ton of veggies and fruit since we are going BLW and H loves his fruits and veggies!
146 before pregnancy, had a sudden weight gain in the last two weeks of pregnancy up to 177, but down to 172 by birth. Was back to 146ish by 6 weeks postpartum. Last weighed myself at 137, but am likely heavier now. Got there likely due to back to back work schedule.
That doesn't mean I'm remotely in shape. I was running 6 days a week when I got pregnant. Low mileage (like 25 miles a week), but consistent. Then at the beginning of the 7th month (when I was running around 18-20 miles a week) I moved, our income dropped to a 1/4 of what it was and suddenly, I couldn't afford a gym membership. I felt too big to safely move to street running.
So while I could bust out 3-4 miles without breaking a sweat while 6 months pregnant, I just crawled back into work after 20 extremely laboured minutes of very slow and constantly interrupted running. My lungs have not held up.
I guess my goal is slowly regain my old weekly mileage without injury before the end of fall. We'll see. It is very difficult to run in the winter where I am. I'm not sure what I will do when the snow starts to fall again.
I don't like exercising while at home because my time with LO is very limited, so I'll chip away at this fitness thing at work everyday...and we'll see where I am in a few weeks.
