Twin boys names Input?

My DH is Hawaiian and so we would like to use semi hawaiian names

So for the twin boys I was thinking..
Kekoa
Kanoa

And call them Koa and Noa? They both have sentimental meaning to us

Is that weird?

I cant think of anything else!

Why not keep them both simple, Kekoa and Kanoa. One can be brave and one can be free-spirited! Then call them Koa and Noa. Kekoa will thank you one day for leaving off the part. Beautiful names all the same!

If you are going to use names that are so similar , make them middle names. I wanted to name my twins Eden and Cecelia and call the Edie and Cece for short. I'm really glad I didn't .

the names are a little matchy but okay if you like that sort of thing.

Way, way too similar. I would be constantly tripping over those names and the NNs.

This. Speaking as a twin, please spare your boys the frustrations of having nearidentical names. They will be sharing a lot in life already and people will naturally be mixing them up without any additional "help" of matchy names.
