Something stuck in baby's eye. (PIP)

A several days ago I noticed a black speck in Lindy's eye, but it didn't seem to be bothering her, and I figured it would migrate to one of the corners of her eye and come out on its own, so I let it be. I'm honestly not sure how long ago that was... a while.

Yesterday, I noticed that the speck is still there, and upon further investigation it appears to be partially embedded in her cornea. I am freaking out just a little bit, and took about a million pictures trying to get a decent shot. Our 6 month appointment is tomorrow, so we'll be having the doctor take a good look at it then.

Has anyone else's kiddo had anything like this?

sort of, but in LO's case I think it is just part of the developing iris. I really haven't given it all that much thought other than "oh, that's there" because she doesn't seem to be experiencing irritation, infection or problems tracking. That said, if you are worried, I'd speak to your pedi or go to an ophthalmologist.

Definitely ask at the pedi's tomorrow. It's quite strange and doesn't appear to be any irritation or anything. I would imagine it would be irritated it was something all big and bad but that's just my reasoning. Z got something in his eye and it was red and irritated for almost two weeks before it came out. He didn't seem bothered by it but his eye was red.
