I was thinking about feeling movement and such and just read that those with anterior placenta might feel it later than others. So I looked up anterior, it meaning being In the front.
Had a total duh moment. Yesterday at my anatomy scan the tech said the placenta was on the belly side. I was like, whatevs. Good to know I guess?
Yeah, otherwise known as anterior. Everything is good in there and baby girl is fine, but no wonder I feel her so rarely! My doc said that he wouldn't be surprised if when I came back in in two weeks I was feeling her all the time. He would almost count on it.
Putting two and two together, not easy with prego brain.
Re: ohhhhhhh
This is my third pregnancy and third anterior placenta.
I was able to feel both my first consistantly after 17 weeks.
This one, nadda. I know this is what a typical anterior placenta feels like, but I hate it. I miss getting the baby movements.
She was moving like crazy to Maroon5 the other day. Then again I went to their concert at 11 weeks and she probably recognized the bass. Lol. Taking after her mama. I love me some Maroon5.
