Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Wake Time?

How old is your LO and how long is their wake time between naps?

DS is 4 months and stays awake about 2 hours max 2 hours and 15 min between naps. I know this is totally normal for his age, just curious when it starts increasing.

Re: Wake Time?

  • She is 3 months. Sometimes she doesn't nap at all. She fights sleep during the day. Otherwise she will nap for 15 minutes every 34 hours

  • Mine is a little over 5 months old, and she'll stay up 2-2.5 hours. She usually catnaps in the morning and then gets a good hour nap in the afternoon. But she's up from 3:30-bedtime at 7:30. That time's rough.

  • DS is 4 months and his wake time seems to constantly fluctuate.  Sometimes it caps out at 90 minutes, sometime he can make it 2.5 hours. What's worse is I can never tell which it will be when he wakes up from sleep, so it makes it hard to decide to run errands or something because I really don't know how much time I'm going to have. I'm hoping it evens out a little more as he grows.

  • LO is up 75 to 90 min between naps for a decent nap...which I count as 45 min . If she's up two hours between naps she will only sleep 30 min. After her last nap of the day I keep here awake 1.5 or 2 hours until bed time

  • My LO is 3 months and his sleep varies, depending on if he's at home or daycare. He has started waking around 5 (give or take 30 minutes), sometimes he will take his paci and go back to sleep, other times he will be hungry and want to eat. The rest of the day he will catnap (20-30 minutes) every two hours, with one good two hour nap around lunch. He takes one nap between 6-9 pm (and 9pm is bedtime) and then he sleeps through the night.

If he's at home on the weekends, he will take longer daytime naps and less catnaps, and usually sleep a little later in the mornings but I know it's because he rests better at home.
