I've got some "gender neutral" stuff and a monkey onesie that's probably more boyish. It was in the gender neutral section, but I think it looks a little boyish. On those days I just put a cute headband on her or pair it with a skirt.
Like PPs, most of their clothes are hand me downs, or super girly dresses. I haven't considered looking at boy stuff, but I wouldn't mind if they wore those rompers! Super cute!
It's really not fair for the moms of boys! Haha! Girls can get away with a blue or green outfit, but boys can't get away with wearing pink or purple. Kaylin's wearing a blue romper today, but it's flowery.
All of my clothes were girl hand-me-downs. Most were very girly but I didn't care because they were free! Summer clothes are the first things I am buying myself, and I tend to be less girly, also thinking ahead that IF we have another kid and IF it is a boy it would be nice to have some "boy" things.
I see no problems with it, especially at this age or even with the basics as they get older.
Most of DD1 and DD2's sports tshirts/onsies are boys because DH refuses to allow the girls to wear any sort of pink Yankee or Giants gear (and then I just accessorize with bows and pink and purple!)
Sometimes when I can find a great deal I'll buy boys clothes for the girls as an extra outfit for daycare. Also if I"m looking for a specific color. Just last night DD1 needed a white shirt for tye dying and I couldn't find any that weren't cutsey or had other stuff on it, so I bought her a plain white T with a pocket from Target's boys section.
I think she is so cute in blue. A lot of her stuff is gender neutral, sometimes people think she's a boy. Doesn't bother me at all. I don't do headbands.
Saying that, I do separate laundry into lights, darks, pinks. There is that much pink!
i just add a headband. she gets mistaken for a boy and even though i don't care the hubs does. most of her stuff is not pink, but i wouldn't say it's from the boys section. i just recently started getting dresses.
I do the bow trick too. DD loves them and doesn't take them off....for now! I try to buy the yellow/greens. I do love blue on her though.
I buy whatever catches my eye. As long as it doesn't have a boy specific phrase [Daddy's Big Guy, Mommy's Hunk, etc] I just make sure to stick a bow on her head.

My dryer makes pink fluff... But I would totally put her in either of those rompers. Cute!
Ha same here, Ashleys dryer lint is pink so I guess that speaks for itself. She does a green romper but it has little flowers. My husband loves her in super girly clothes. The crab rompers are super cute!
Re: Girls Mamas
I haven't, but I probably will. She still has way to much pink, but there is a little purple and blue.
