Oh, I hope not...

As I am driving home from work today, who do I see walking acoss the street in the town square? You guessed it... BM. What in the world is she doing here? I immediately phoned DH to let him know she was in the area. SD is at a friend's place right now and we were meeting at home to leave right away and go somewhere anyway, so no worries about running into her at home right now. But seriously? This is the main reason we movee here. To put some space between us.

BM was with someone else, though I couldn't tell who. The past week or so I could have sworn I have seen her a couple of times, but I told myself I was just getting antsy about the upcoming hearing. But this time, it was definitely her!

DH I both wonder if she hasn't moved in with some guy who lives up here. I hope not. I don't want her that close. This town is so small you can't fart without the whole town knowing.

On the other hand, if she has moved in with some guy, that is always when she starta messing up and getting in trouble again.

Ugh, my skin is crawling having seen this scum so close to my house.

    I cannot remember your timeline but now that DH graduates how close are you to being able to move?

    He is contracted to work here a minimum two years. I also have to finish school here, which is going to take longer. And his work will send him back to Paramedic school for another two year contract after this one is up. So really, for both of us, we are looking at at least 7 years if you include time to find a house.

    But honestly, I doubt DH will ever move. And I have determined an area of this region that I would be willing to settle down in. I would love to move far away because of BM, but DH wants to stay close to where he grew up. And now that I have finally found a good job that I can see myself staying with longterm and can see opportunities for myself in this area in the possible future career changes I might make with the degree I am earning... I could honestly stay here. I like this community, too.

    Why does BM just have to ruin it all? Go back to Texas!

    Ugh, I'm sorry. How far away were you from BM before she showed up in the area?

    About 30 minutes, but come on! This place is so small that you have have to drive at least a halfhour out of town to find a WalMart. There is NOTHING in this town! It is totally possible she met someone who lives here and moved in with them or is staying with a friend, but it is highly unlikely she just up and decided to come up here for a day trio. We have a Fred's, a Dollar General, and two small grocery stores. Thats about it other than consignment stores and yiur random, locally owned insurance or real estate business.

    I am just thinking WTH?
