Dd hates her booster, and will climb up on any of our chairs and eat sitting that way . Her chin barely touches the top of the table though since she just turned two. Anyone else's toddler eat like this? Are you still using a booster?
I stopped using a booster at about 18 months. She'll sit on her knees or sometimes a phone book (since that's all they are really good for now a days). She climbs or wanders, but for the most part does well.
We do booster mostly, but she likes to climb up on a regular chair and eat that way. We let her do whichever she wants at each meal. She looks so awkward eating when her head barely clears the table. But it makes her happy and she sits and eats so we don't argue.
We moved to a regular chair right before two. He either sits on his knees or on one of the chairs we have a kaboost on the bottom which lifts the chair up so he can sit on his bottom.
Booster. He doesn't like to be strapped in anymore though. What about a chair that is her size? Ikea has some junior chairs. Or something like the Tripp trapp chair?
We have DS's toddler sized table/chairs pulled up right next to our dining room table. When we eat meals, he'll pull his chair right next to mine and eat from his table while we eat from ours. Once he gets a tad bit taller we'll have him sit at the dining room table.
Both of my girls are in boosters at the table. DD1's has no straps, so she has more freedom. If we're eating at someone else's house DD1 will kneel on the chairs.

We did a booster until last summer, then we switched to an IKEA junior chair. It is a regular chair but high enough so she doesn't have to sit on her knees. On of our kitchen chairs broke and the other ones were really old and we ended up buying the adult matching chairs (because we happened to like them best not to martch the junior chair per se)

Re: What does your child sit in to eat?
Highchair still
same here. She's pretty tall for it, but she loves sitting in it

We've been using the FP Healthy Care Deluxe booster since he was about 7 months.
Regular chair. Our chairs are a little bit tall.
But she sat on her knees on a regular chair for a while before, and often still does. Gives her enough extra height for it to work well.
We use a highchair for all three kids (3.5 yr, 2.5 yr, 10m). I like being able to keep them strapped in until I'm ready to let them out.
ETA: The 3.5yr doesn't use a booster or a high chair at a restaurant, she just sits on the chair.
Ds sits in a normal chair but one of the ones made for toddlers with long little seat and longer legs so he cant reach the table.

Like this but ours has arms on it
