My doctor has been requiring us to come in for a weight check every month because my dd is at the lower end of the curve. She's always gained weight and always grows in length. I'm starting to become frustrated and was wondering if anyone was going through a similar situation.

DD has always been on the low end, 2% at 6 month, 1% at 4 month, but her curve is going upward, so the pedi is not concerned. He also said, like PP, that she is a breastfed baby and those charts don't accurately show growth.
DH and I were not big children, so we are not concerned. She is meeting, and really exceeding all her milestones. She's just petite.
If you are truely concerned, talk with the pedi on why they are doing weight checks. We get copies of her growth curve as well, that maybe something you can ask for to give yourself some piece of mind.
