what's the difference between PPD and just depression?

i googled PPD and i don't know if i'm all of those things. i'll have to go talk to my Dr (although i feel like she's a terrible Dr and i don't know if i'm still PPD with a 5 month old...)

    I'm not sure I still have PPD with a 1.5 yr old heh. I don't think there's technically an "expiration date" to it. It might just kinda blend in together after a while :/
