Benjamin has a tooth coming in and got up on all fours and rocked back and forth today. I cried becuse of All the changes and how big he's getting. Ugh, being a mommy is so emotional. My little baby isn't a newborn anymore and is growing like a weed. Sad!!!!! So 2 things... I'm noticing the tooth breaking through and can feel it a bit. When will it break through totally?
And how long after the rocking back and forth did your LO crawl?

Re: Too much for mommy
every kid is different on teeth I think. Sammie had her two bottom teeth in at 5 months, and as soon as we "saw" them.. they popped in overnight (literally) ... then they took about 3 weeks to get "fully" grown in .
She is still rocking back and forth but will crawl a little if she is well rested. She LOVES to "walk" holding our fingers... especially if daddy or her kitty is in her eyeline
So I am about to say the very same thing that makes every mom cringe:
Every baby is different.
With DD1, she literally got up and crawled one day. No rocking. No army crawling. No backwards crawling. She just went. Her teeth also popped up pretty quickly.
My nephew, army crawled for months, then crawled and walked in the same month. His teeth would swell up and go down and swell up and go down for weeks before breaking through.
With DD2, no teeth in sight. She has been on all fours for two months now and just started army crawling.
