  I'm honestly not really sure....but I know that my DD has a horrible time digesting pure milk. I think she may be lactose intolerant. She wakes up screaming after having had it, like her tummy is bothering her something fierce and she gets a horrible diaper rash. Hope you can figure out if it's "normal" for your baby - but I know mine is a special case.

  Mine can't handle cow's milk, gassiness being only one of her problems.  We do enriched rice milk instead and she does great.  You could try cutting back on the whole milk, switching to lactaid, or trying rice/soy milk and see what happens.
