Amongst our group of friends, there are 6 babies who are born within the same week of each other (I know, super weird). One of the little boy?s parents already have a birthday party planned and I know that we will all be going to the party. I wanted to order those ?I?m 1 year old? onesies for every baby and have them take a picture together, with the intent that we can do this every year afterwards. Do you think that?s a good idea? My only concern is that the little boy?s parents would want the day to be just about their son (which is perfectly fine with me). DH thinks I should ask the parents directly, but I know they are such nice people that if I asked, they would say yes; even if they don?t want to.
So I?m asking on a public forum - do you think that?s a good idea?
Re: Matching birthday shirts - good idea or not?
I vote "no". I would be pretty ticked off if someone did that at my LO's party.
You already mentioned they would probably agree to it even if they hated the idea, so I wouldn't even bring it up, they'll feel put on the spot and guilty if they say no.
If you aren't having your own party, then see if you can schedule it for some other time that you can get all the babies together. Not at someone else's party.
