We are hitting up the zoo tomorrow and Sophia does well strolling in the stroller while outside so I'm not worried about her acting up. But, I'm curious if I let her walk on her own at some point, will I regret it?
Have you guys let your LO walk at the zoo? If so, how did they do?
I was thinking about letting her walk the last half hour before we leave.
Re: Zoo question.
I let him out of the stroller to look at the animals and if there's another exhibit that's close he holds my hand and walks with me while I push the empty stroller. There's also a playground in the zoo so he gets out then. And, the children's area is completely fenced in so he's allowed to walk in that.
Have tons of fun tomorrow!! It'll wear her out for sure!!
We have yet to take a "real" zoo trip, but we go to a local farm and let her walk all around the animal enclosures. She does great! I do remind her up front to stay with us, hold hands, etc. As long as we do that from the outset, she does really well and doesn't run off.
Let us know how it goes, hope you have fun!!!
That's what we do
::hangs head in shame:: yea I know I'm a stranger! =(
