Second Week of Hubs New Job-little vent

This is the second week of the hubs new job/him working in another city. I works/lives Mon-Fri in the city we will eventually move to. We are in the process of trying to sell our home. So far everything has been going great. Other than me missing him, obviously. But we facetime alot. Anyways, I think the most difficult part of this whole process is not knowing *when* someone is going to buy our house. Because, until then, we will be separated. It's been shown once, and we got feedback-only complaint was that it wasn't as large as when the buyer is looking for, and that she disliked the popcorn ceilings(who doesn't, but I'm not up for a home project now. :-) ) Hopefully we will get some more people interested this weekend. I know I'm being super impatient. But, it'd be nice to know when we will be moving forward, ya know? This job is such a fantastic opportunity for our family, and I am so proud of my husband. :-)

Is renting a house while trying to sell a thing? I had no idea that was possible. Definitely worth considering.
It's only been on the market two weeks as of yesterday. If it doesn't sell within a couple of months then we will most likely go through a management company and lease it.
It would just be really great to sell it, and get some money back for a nice down payment on a new house.
I wouldn't rent it out while trying to sell unless you absolutely had to. Unless you were marketing it as a rental property, I would imagine new owners would want to be able to move in right away.
