Success after IF

Tell me it's too soon!

Today is 5dp5dt - FET.  BFN this morning.  DH thinks I am going to drive myself crazy, but my beta isn't scheduled until 14dp5dt...it seems so far away.  I got a BFN at 8dp3dt (fresh) with DD#1 and then got a BFP the next evening, so I am hopeful that this will turn into a BFP.  It just seems like several people have gotten a BFP 5dp5dt with FETs...anyone get a later BFP?

Thanks and sorry to bug you guys...I just keep staring at the tests, hoping to see a second line appear :(

Re: Tell me it's too soon!

  • I don't have experience with IVF or FETs, but I just wanted to say good luck! You know every pregnancy is different, and so is every BFP, so you never know! FX ;)

  • I think a ton of ladies don't see a line until closer to 12 days past.  I'll keep hoping for you.

Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

  • I have always read that FETs can take longer to implant and get going, so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes longer to get a bfp.

  • I think I got the faintest BFP on my FET @ 6dp FET.  Check my sig.  It was hardly even visable I remember so hang in there.

  • If someone came on here who didn't do a FET and said she got a BFN at 10dpo you would tell her it is too soon, right? It is too soon. I can't promise it will turn to a BFP but I don't think the BFN means much at this point.
