At what age do you start letting the baby cry it out? My daughter is a few days shy of 10 weeks and I've been hearing conflicting advice. During the day she wants to be held constantly. She barely naps. I can not seem to get anything done with out her screaming her head off. My back is aching as well as my head. Some people are telling me I should let her cry it out but I don't know if she's too young. Any advice would be greatly appeciated

4 months is the earliest as developmentally they are not ready to self-soothe before that. I really hope that we don't have to do the CIO method with DD but in case we do I have been preparing myself by reading the book and also reading different views on the topic online.
