***STMs with a 2 story house***
We have a 2 story house and this LO's bedroom is upstairs. I'm wondering if I need a bassinet. We have a pack n play with newborn napper but I was planning on putting that downstairs so that baby can nap in it when DD and I are down here. But, I'm not sure what to do when it's nighttime and we're upstairs. I want the new LO in our room for the first few weeks...then we'll transition to the crib.
We could put the pack n play in our room for the first few weeks and just keep the baby in the swing/bouncy seat while we're downstairs. Then later on move the pack n play.
Anyway, just wondering what others are doing.

DD only slept in our room at night.. We used the Arm's Reach Mini CoSleeper and love it! That or some other bassinet would be fine.
I can't imagine going up and down stairs all night.
We lived in our 2 story house when DS was born, and this was the case. I did have room for a swing downstairs, though, so that's where he napped if necessary. I did eventually make a ton of trips up and down the stairs when he was a little bigger. It'll be lame to do again, but at least it's a way to burn some extra calories!
I'm most likely having a repeat c/s so unfortunately this isn't an option for me. I think I get 1 trip a day for the 1st few weeks which is hilarious. I know I'll be doing more than that.
Looks like I'm going ot have to get a bassinet. Maybe I can borrow one.
