Convertible Carseat

LO is finally sitting well on his own, so I'm comfortable (and really excited to) say good-bye to the awkward, heavy infant carrier.

Have you made the switch? When did/will you?  What seat did you buy?

    I bought a Britax Marathon about a month ago, but am still waiting for B to sit a little better on his own before making the switch.

    We switched about a month ago. We have the Recaro ProRIDE. He loves it!

    Didn't switch my first until she was almost a year, and we'll probably do the same with this one.  She's not too big, and she likes her seat.

    dd1 has a britax marathon, but I'm thinking of looking for something a bit more narrow this time.  Might get the sunshine radian and put dd1 in that and dd2 in the marathon.

    We have a Britax Marathon and we switched a couple of weeks ago. LO really wanted to sit upright, and he seems more comfortable in this seat.

    We had been leaving the bucket seat in the car for a couple of months, because it was just too heavy to carry him in anymore.

    We use the infant carrier as our extra seat. We have the bases in MIL's and FIL's cars. We bought a Radian RXT for our own car when it was on sale on Amazon awhile ago. We love it, and DS seems sooo much more comfortable in it.
