Baby Laughs

B will smile and squeal at just about anything, but real belly laughs are harder to get. Today we were shopping and I bounced a ball - he laughed so hard that he got hiccups!

What things make your LO laugh?

I thought about making a post similar to this the other day... but my idea was regarding music. My LO laughes EVERY TIME I sing MMMBop to him. Don't ask where I got the idea to sing that to him in the first place, but he just loves it. I downloaded it on iTunes the other day and we were singing to it last night. Something about the Bop just gets him... It's so funny. I wondered if anyone else's LO had a song that made them smile or laugh.

Other than that, tickling usually works. And if you are a child about 2 to 5 years old, he will laugh at anything you do... ANYTHING.

everything and nothing. He gets slap happy when he is tired and it is the funniest thing. I smile just thinking about it

A loves the word chomp. Not sure why...but most of the time I say it to him he just cracks up. Love it!

Oh yeah, and animal sounds. DH has a set of animal sounds he goes through and they almost always make LO laugh. Some more than others.

My DD smiles a lot, especially during peek-a-boo, when we dance with her, playing with toys, and read her favorite book. She laughed out loud a few times. It's the cutest thing! She laughs loudly when we put her in a swing at the park. She loves her walker. Sometimes she'll laugh at random things. The video below is my favorite of hers. We were playing with her on the couch and she loved it! She truly is the happiest baby!

If I'm interacting with her she generally laughs, doesn't matter what it is. Sometimes even just talking to her will make her laugh uncontrollably.

But kisses and silly made up songs? Never fail.

Cj laughs during peek a boo, at the dog, on the changing table and tickling although tonight he just started cracking up at dinner over nothing it seemed. Melts my heart every time!

I am on a business trip, and DH sent me a video called "poop." I was scared to watch it, but in the video, he was talking to LO, and he said, "That really smells bad. Did you just fart, or did you POOP?" And every time he said "poop," DS cracked up laughing. It was a hilarious video. I think DH must have been making a funny face, and he kind of did a funny voice when he accentuated that word. Baby laughs are the best!

The word boo gets him everytime. Or if I nibble on his toes and fingers. He laughs hard when I kiss his sides and neck too. Aw I miss my sleeping boy now.

LO cracks up if I say "I'm gonna get you" because I get his belly every time. He also thinks DH is hilarious when he says "Apple", no one else, just DH. The dogs are also particularly hilarious. He just cracks me up.
