EBF 5 month old, started solids, lots of spit-up?

We started cereal a few weeks ago. Yesterday we started with sweet potatoes and breastmilk for breakfast and dinner. Today after BF'ing later in the day, he's got a lot of spit up. It's the color of milk, not orange. Stools and wet diaps seem ok. Should I be worried?

    Babies are spitty sometimes. I wouldn't necessarily connect the two right away. Keep what you're doing going and see if it resolves itself. If it gets worse or he develops a rash or something then discontinue the sweet potatoes. Call your pedi if you feel the need.

    I agree with the above.  DD spits up a lot, she's not on solids yet. I don't think they're connected.
