Belly Band?

So I have my second planned c-section in a week and I was thinking about getting a belly band. Yes or no? Have you ladies found it helpful or just a waste of $$$

    There is a trend similar to this a little ways down. I plan on asking my ob and mw about it at my appt on Tuesday.

    I will be having a second section as well.  I have already purchased one.  Several of my friends says it's well worth having.  It really helped afterwards.

    The hospital provided me with one. It was heavy duty and velcro. It really helped me feel supported and held in. Also helped my belly flatten out quicker. I loved it!

    I had a gigantic one from the hospital and the first pg I didn't like it, but the 2nd it was slightly better. I used it at the very beginning, but it was soooo bulky that it was really hard moving around with. I would like to get a bit more of a form fitting one this time.

    My Dr wanted me to wear a binder for 72 hrs after the CS, he thinks it helps preventing hematoma, I kept wearing it for 1.5 week, then started wearing control top panties and a spanx.
