reflux/gas

We've noticed that little one seems to be having a lot of digestion/gas issues when he is eating.  He arches his back and makes unhappy noises a lot and has a lot of gas (also has lots of poops every feeding).  Just wondering what has helped everyone else.

I just switched to Dr Brown's bottles, hoping that will help with decreasing the gas he is getting (we are mostly pumping and he is fed all breast milk with high calorie supplement).  Also I've been leaving him sitting up for a bit after eating and he currently sleeps in his rock n play, which is elevated.

Plan on mentioning to pediatrician when we go in in another 2 weeks for his 1 month appointment, assume no need to make an appointment for just this.

    As BK said, those sound like classic reflux symptoms, and sometimes it can take at least a few days to see an improvement.  As long as he is eating and not necessarily throwing everything up, I don't think that you necessarily need to bring him in for that.  Having said that, you've pretty much tried the other things to help, and if it is still there, I would make an appt to see the pedi for this.  Why don't you give them a call and see what they think?
