Bumps on toddler cheeks?

Has anyone had any experience with little red bumps developing on their toddler's cheeks?  DS started getting pimple like bumps on his chin last week and now he has them all up his cheek too.  They don't seem to bother him, but I'm wondering if they are a sign of something.  Any ideas?  Something to see the pedi about?

    Is he on antibiotics? Both myself and DS1 have had a similar thing happen to us due to them.

    I know nothing about toddler rashes but could it be a heat rash or from extra drool?

    My two thoughts are heat/drool when he's sleeping.

    Thanks ladies!  I'm just going to wait a few more days and see how it looks.  He has been spending a lot of time running around outside, so maybe it is heat related.

    DD has had something similar for a few weeks. It comes and goes and we think it could be dirt related. We give her a bath every other day but I do wash her face twice a day.

    She is spending more time outside at daycare and they don't do a very good job of cleaning her face. I notice the bumps less over the weekend and it seems to flare back up once the week starts.

    We also thought it could be an allergic reaction but have not introduced anything new.
