So question for the moms still on this board
(And maybe someone can ask the FB group and get back to me!)
My little guy takes 45 minute naps like a champ - swing, crib, rock n play. The only time he'll nap longer is if he's cuddled with mama, in the ergo or being held.
The last couple days, I've put him in the rock n play and when he wakes up after 45 minutes, I'll rock/hold him for 15-20 minutes and then I can put him back down. All in all, he'll take a 2 hour nap that way.
Anyone else's LO do the same thing? Wake up after one sleep cycle? I'm just glad I can get him to go back to sleep sometimes! Otherwise, it's a long day of 5 short naps and DS is more cranky.
Pin me baby!

Re: 45 minute nap question
He's happy when he wakes up and sleeps the whole night so I'm not too worried about it but I would so love a longer break. I usually give in and hold him for a long nap in the afternoon but that's extremely challenging with a one year old running around!
It has some great tips about getting them back down for another sleep cycle.
my LO can usually put herself back down through the 45 min arousal with minimal fussiness for the first nap, and mmayybbee the 2nd. I've realized she can really only be up for 75-90 minutes or else she only takes 30 minute naps-wakes up happy, but is very tired. if I hit the sweet spot of awake time, she'll wake up fussy from the 45 minute sleep cycle, attempt to put herself down..if after 20 minutes she's still kind of grunting and occasionally fussing, I'll pick her up and hold her.
