Oh I love them both! After the baby was born I cut it a little above shoulders with layers and I love it! My hair looks so much healthier because of all the hair loss it looks fuller.
As far as wearing my hair, I usually blow it out and it will last about 2-3 days unless I have a hard workout or something, its really dry so its actually better to not wash it daily. The third day is usually a messy bun.

This is similar to me. Sometimes I use second-day hair as an excuse to not workout. Hehe

I changed my bangs after baby. I found out that side swept bags were a huge PITA so I went with straight ones, and now I can just style them, pull my hair up, and still feel like I'm put together. I love the long bob and think it would look great on you!
I love that look. I wish I could pull it off, but between my naturally wavy hair and a big forehead cowlick, the straight bangs ain't happening.

Very nice My hair was probably the length of the pictures you posted when DS1 was born and within a few months I chopped it all off to a short bob I have super thick hair and it takes forever to blow it out.. even short, still takes 20-30 minutes..! It's mostly grown out now, down past my shoulders already.. I imagine I'll chop it again after DS2 comes! My hair also grows super fast..!
I think I have done my hair (blow dry then straighten- takes at least 40 minutes) like 3 times since DS was born. Most days it gets thrown up in a ponytail or messy bun. My hair is super thick and wavy, and I will usually try and let it air dry and leave it down, but I am way overdue for a haircut, so it's super frizzy. Also, DS has discovered my hair and how to grab it and attempt to rip it out, so it just gets put up.
I am dying to cut it all off- into a short bob, or something similar, but DH keeps whining about how much he loves my hair long. As it gets hotter, though, chances get higher that the next time I go in for a "trim" I'll be coming home with short hair.
It amuses/amazes me that you ladies do your hair. I never even blow dry it. It goes flipped up into a clip still wet, and maybe not even combed. I have long greasy hair that really needs to be washed everyday, but I've been pushing it to every other since DD arrived. It's still long, although I got a crapload cut off last month, for the first time in a year.
Mama to 5 angel babies, 1 rainbow baby, and 2 more angel babies.
