Mountain Dew slushy

So today when DH came home from work, he brought himself a Mountain Dew slushy. He had finished about half of it when he went back to the bathroom. 

I was in the kitchen making dinner. He is supposed to watch E during this time. She took his slushy off the table and finished it. It's the first time she's had caffeine. 

He's in her room trying to put her down for the night. She's usually been out for 45 minutes by now. I can hear her chattering away in her crib with no end in sight. I wonder how long her caffeine buzz will last.

    Haha, oops! A local gas station used to have Mt. D and Pepsi slushies when I was younger. I would voluntarily walk home from school rather than ride the bus, so I could purchase a Mt. D slushy after school with my allowance money. They're freaking delicious, or at least they were to a preteen who should not have been consuming that much caffeine.

    That's pretty funny. I guess your DH will learn that leaving certain things in reach of a toddler is not the best thing to do.
