Constant Kicking?

So the last week Ive thought I've definitively felt baby kicks but when I lay down, it seems almost constant. Can this really be baby kicking? It's not constant as in always the same rhythm. Just seems to happen a lot especially at night! If it is the baby that's great glad my little one is active just seems like so much I wonder if it could be kicks all the time... I can feel it through my tummy too! Anyone else feel it so often!

Re: Constant Kicking?

  • As soon as I lie down at night I can feel the baby moving around. Like he's getting comfy too.

  • It could be hiccups too.

Baby must of been facing my back the other day, I had hiccups near my butt.

Its a bizarre feeling but yes the babies are active at night or at least this one is.

  • Hmmm... I never thought of hiccups before!
Also the movent lullying them makes sense as well!
I've been.so excited to feel movement but then it almost seemed so often that it started making me wonder.. If I really understand what it is I'm feeling!

  • My little one kicked me like crazy last night. This was the 2nd time Ive ever felt her kick. I was laying down on my back just watching tv before bed and there she was but she wouldn't stop. It was the greatest feeling ever.

  • Sounds like the hiccups!!
  • My little guy is constantly kicking too. My fianc can feel him and last night we actually saw it. So neat!
  • Yup that sounds like baby kicks! My baby boy is always most active at night, which is actually the norm because your movement during the day disguises baby's movements and lulls him/her to sleep. I am 21.5 weeks and have been able to feel baby from the outside for a little over a week now too. Isn't it great?!
My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013! image

  • I'm 23 weeks and last week I started feeling the consistent movement, I think it's hiccups.

I'm sure that is your baby.  My baby boy is active for a couple hours in the morning, the afternoon and several hours at night.  It is constant kicking and punching and rolling.  He's all over the place in there.  Enjoy it while he/she is small and it isn't too painful or uncomfortable yet.  Big active babies like my first can drive you nuts at times.

  • I bet they can! If they would keep up this rate of movement I could only imagine...lol
