Almost forgot to update on my brother's FI

She got out of the hospital on Friday afternoon. Basically, it was acute kidney failure most likely caused by a kidney infection and severe dehydration. I sort of suspected and sort of hoped that was the case (and obviously nothing chronic) since it was following memorial weekend and she had been out at the lake with my sister a lot that weekend prior.

She just started feeling better last night though. My oldest nephew (the one that lived with me) has been staying with her since she got out to help with the babies. We didn't really find out everything until early Fri morning after the last of the outstanding tests came back. I hope she starts taking better care of herself.

    I'm glad it's not something chronic/long term, and hope she recovers quickly.  Maybe this will be a wakeup call to take care of herself.

    This. I'm glad she's okay. Like you said, those kids have been through enough.

    Have you been able to see your nieces and nephews much lately?
