I know most of you ladies have younger kids/babies but are there any who have been through the potty training process? We started this weekend. We bought him "big boy underwear and are taking him to the potty every hour. Sometimes he'll tell us he needs to go and we take him then too. We are planning on using diapers at bedtime but I wasn't sure about nap. Any suggestions?

Re: Potty Training
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
Thanks! Ill be making a sticker chart tomorrow. Day one was rough, lots of accidents and laundry. Hope tomorrow is better. After having wet sheets after nap ill be sticking with your diaper suggestion for now. Thx!
Congrats on your new babies! I've only been through one day of potty training and its tough! Expect lots of accidents. Hope ill have some useful advice for you. But surely with the new babies trying to juggle potty training and feedings sound tough.
Good luck on the potty training! We will be there later this summer. My pediatrician recommended an Elmo potty video that she said was really annoying, but her 3 year old loved!

Lol, my DD is the same way! Someone gave us Elmo jammies and she's obsessed w them, even though she never watches the show.
We still used pullups at nap and bedtime...hoping to train for that in the next few weeks, but we don't have consistently dry pullups.
Fwiw, I would rather PT than have to make the switch to the toddler bed, lol. Good luck!
