I'm so, so, so craving chocolate chip cookies. I have three bags of chocolate chips but no damn vanilla! I'm putting off buying some because my friend picked me up some from a recent trip to Mexico-I just haven't caught up with her to get it. Total first world problem.
C has been so annoying this morning (canines coming in) so I finally broke down and put the movie Cars on (we don't really watch TV). He is seriously flipping out with excitement, and I feel bad that I haven't let him watch this more often.
ETA: Anyone else have anything random to add?

If you get sun in your memorial garden your options are endless! I'd go with perennials, they are more expensive but come back every year!
Some of my favorite
Clematis-If you have a trellis
Black-eyed susan
Peony
Dahlias
hens and chicks
I have all shade at this house so I have a harder time.
I have bugle weed, hosta, day lilies, astible, ferns, anemone, impatiens, fushia, begonias, vinca, I'm going to put in some white hydrangea, raspberries, and huchera, and bleeding hearts.
Gators teeth came in pretty quick. But I just noticed and I don't see her second eyetooth coming in. Not even a little start of it poking through the gums. Now I'm really worried that she doesn't have one there as that runs on my dads side of the family. I was missing one of mine and it cost me a pretty penny to get a dental implant. My other eye tooth showed up that was really thin so that one has a porcelain veneer over it.
Thanks for the info, Penny! I need all the help I can get. I am going to the nursery tomorrow for planting. My garden area receives full sun about half the day, so it provides a great opportunity for variety.
"Cookie" is N's new favorite sign and word. I heard her whispering it before bed the other night LOL
And now, I want cookies!
A has absolutely hated riding in the car...since birth. We bought a new car and it's like we also got a new kid. She laughs, plays, and reads her books. Apparently she prefers a more expensive vehicle than her mom's old hatchback.
Also, Ash watches the Muppets all. the. time.
Sounds like she's got expensive taste! Lol
I really wish I had not gone over to see DS during my lunch break. I'm in the mood today where I knew I was going to have trouble leaving him and sure enough... was nearly in tears getting in my car to come back here and now all I can think about is how Grandpa got to take him to the park and have fun with him while I get to sit here in my windowless office counting down the minutes until I can leave.
Being a working mom flucking sucks.
And now I want chocolate chip cookies, too.
FML.
I'm sorry :-(. On another note, we were in your part of the state last week. We drove through and stayed the night on our way to Spokompton. You are so lucky to live where you live.
Oh fun, did you have a good time in Spokompton?! I've been meaning to head that way to catch up with an old friend and hit up the H&M.
And I have to remind myself that it's such a great area because I get so caught up in the whole "but I was born/raised here - I didn't intend to return & actually live here!" mindset that I forget it's really quite a nice place to be. So, thank you!
Meh, had more fun in your area. We were there for a family function, so we really didn't get a chance to go out that much. We hit up the See's Candies on the way out of town. Pretty glamorous, huh?
LOL @ what you wrote, that's cute.
More randoms....
we were going to have our wedding in Hawaii. Then we found out it would be half the price if we did it in Palm Springs. Although it is the low season....which means it is hotter than heII. But I don't care because I will be spending my days by the pool and going to the water park. The wedding is only going to be like a few hours out of a whole week anyway. Its more of us going on vacation and we are getting married, so if you want to be there...then come. We mentioned it to a few people and they are already trying to talk us out of doing it there and instead have it at home and then honeymoon there. Umm....who's wedding is this?? Don't want to be there....then don't come. The crappy part is that we cannot rent the house (where we want to have the wedding in the backyard) until December (there is only a 6mo booking window). So we are sending out Save The Dates with the city name and if someone else snags the house, we will still have six months to find another place or just get married in the courthouse,
i cannot get Gator to take a nap while I am at work and it drives me nuts. She is currently yelling "OH NO! No no!", laughing at the dog, etc. while I am hiding in the kitchen praying she passes out soon.
i decided I hate my work schedule. I work 10hr days on M, Th, F. So it is like I have two Mondays. I have the real Monday where I am struggling to get off weekend mode. Then I have two days off. Then Thursday I am struggling just like on Monday. Then Friday. Then the weekend. And it starts all over. I wish I worked three days in a row or M, W, F. And it makes it hard to sign Gator up for stuff like swimming lessons when they have lessons on Tues/Thurs and they don't allow make-ups for days you missed. We would end up missing every Thurs.
We got a GMC Acadia, it's fancy and smells good! ;-)
Trip = worth it!
Elsa, this made me LOL. We've all been there, hon, I feel your pain!
Sorry to hear about your work schedule - that sucks!
she finally passed out and at the same time, I noticed how big the twins pack'n'play is. She is all stretched out. Next time around, I am buying a twins pack'n'play...even if I am not having twins!
