Success after IF

3 years ago today...

I was told by the RE that I had DOR after failing the clomid challenge and I very little chance of getting pg with my own eggs even with IVF. I actually dug out my file recently and in my medical transcripts, the notes read that she told me 5%, but she thought it was probably more like 2%.

Well, I guess that RE was really wrong. And I'm so thankful for the ladies on the IF board for telling me to get a second opinion.  It's hard to believe that just 3 years later, I have a 2 year old and 18 weeks pg w #2.

  • Who told you that?  Dr. Hayes?  She insisted my husband would need to have surgery in order for us to get pg again even though 3 different urologists told us that it wouldn't help and to not waste our time.

Anyway ... I'm glad she was wrong.  You should send their office a birth announcement this Fall ;)  Tehehehehe.
