AW:sleep and a question

LO has been sleeping in his bassinet and pack 'n' play since about 4ish weeks old next to my side of the bed. We bought a monitor yesterday and he slept in his own room in his bed. I decided we would try after his 6 month appt and I stuck to it. His bedroom is on the same floor as ours but across to the other side of the house.  

He did great. He STTN in there and woke up at his normal wake up time at 8am.

FX this goes smoothly.

I do still rock him to sleep and then I put him in his bed, anyone else doing this?

    Unfortunately I still do. I love it because I know it won't last forever but it's so frustrating some nights!! We also give her a bottle to sleep... Bad momma ha

    Yay! We rock and give a bottle before bed each night. I try to put him down drowsy but DH likes to rock to sleep. I'd say its 50 50.

    We don't rock K to sleep. However, we cuddle her to sleep 75% of the time. DH and I are both really big cuddlers. I think it is more for us than for her. She is more than capable of falling asleep alone in her crib. We just want extra baby snuggles.

    I nurse and rock DS to sleep every night before putting him in his crib.  Some nights I will nurse him and DH will rock him to sleep if he's fighting it for me.  I will probably continue to do this as long as I can, I love the cuddle time and it won't be long before he won't need me to or want me to rock him to sleep anymore.
