We didn't have use for a diaper sprayer with DS, but DD's diapers are waaaay different. I'm thinking about getting a diaper sprayer. Do you like yours? Feel that it's necessary? Is it messy?
We have the bum genius one and I love it. DS only poos once every couple days, so I don't like to use liners (I don't want to waste them). So the sprayer is great to have. But, I should mention that DH hasn't quite mastered it yet and often sprays poopy water all over the bathroom
I'm curious what you mean about not needing it for your son. Even as a little baby, didn't he need his diapers rinsed?

See, I'm worried about poopy water getting sprayed everywhere and dealing with drippy diapers. I'm kind of hoping that if we ride it out a few more months that maybe things will change once solids are introduced! I'm getting really tired of scraping though and don't really want to have to do this for an extended period of time.
DS's dirties were always pretty ploppable. I'm just now realizing how lucky we were!
I actually don't have one yet but I won a SprayPal [https://www.spray-pal.com] a couple weeks ago and it looks like it'll be super helpful. We're still EBF so I just throw the diapers straight into the machine but I know it'll change when we intro solids.
I have the bumgenius sprayer and love it. I know you can throw the diapers in the machine, but I just can not bring myself to do so. If you lift the toilet seat and lower the diaper below the rim you don't get spray. Also, I start the sprayer off of the diaper and then move it onto the diaper.
As for dripping diapers, I leave a small bucket behind the toilet. I put the diaper in the bucket while it is still over the toilet and bring it to my pail. There was a learning curve for DH, but he is getting the hang of it.

We have the bum genius sprayer and the Spray Pal that previous poster mentioned. We EBF so we wouldn't have to use it but DH throws a fit about getting too much poop in the washing machine! Lol. But I highly reccomend both. Spray Pal helps keep things nice and contained and cleaner.
Re: CD mamas, how do you like your diaper sprayer?
