If you make your own baby food...

I normally make my own food, but when we travel, I've been bringing along some Gerber my mom gave me. I'm out, and also it's gross, so I need to get something else for a trip this weekend. Does anyone else buy jarred food occasionally, and have a favorite that actually tastes like real food?

I'll give him some table food when I'm with him, but we're going out with friends two nights and need something for a sitter to give him.

    Plum or happybaby / happy tot - they are normally pouches and I'm shocked at how good a lot of them taste / smell.  I use earths best too sometimes but I don't find it as good - I look for ones that do not have water as the first ingredient

    We like the Plum ones as well, they smell great and have fun combinations.

    We like earth's best organic.  It tastes just like regular food to me and I make sure to try all his food.

    For the road I did organic puches. They are easy to travel and I was able to squeeze them in her mouth while traveling. I make all my own food and once we got to our location I made all the food I would need for the week, but for the actual car ride I did the pouches.

    I was against the pouches for a while because I thought they were expensive. I grabbed a few though when they were on sale and also decided to get the spoon attachments for them. We went on a road trip for a wedding this past weekend and I must say they were amazing to have along! So much less mess to clean up! Plus I feel like they have much more unique combinations to choose from. Not sure if the spoon attachments are available everywhere, but we got ours at Target.
