I don't post alot on here, but do read and comment time to time My LO is 21 months and I bought her a swim vest for the water. What will you be using this year? TIA
We used that last year, but I know he would climb out or flip it over if I tried it this year. We got him Puddle Jumpers, but haven't been swimming yet this year.
He is way too independent to not use anything...I wouldn't trust myself to hold onto him the whole time.
We got DD a Puddle Jumper this year. She wore it over Memorial Day weekend when we were at the lake. She liked it so much better than the traditional life jacket we had for her last summer.
We also have one of the floaties that PP linked to. We used that a lot last year but she likes to be less contained these days
We have a life jacket for boating on a lake and we just hold him when we're in a pool. We had a puddle jumper last year but he was too small. This year, he's about 30 lbs so he should fit in it, but we haven't tried it yet.
We don't use any flotation device. We are right there with her in the baby pool and we hold her in higher water. We had a ring she could sit in last year, but she really wasn't interested in being in it. She wanted to be with us.
After 2 years of TTC, our daughter was born on Oct 31, 2011! 7lbs 13oz 20 inches long ">

lol - us too. Although sometimes it's only one spotter depending on how cold the water is.
