Something amazing just happened!

DD picked up and put away her blocks, without me asking her to, before asking to get out her crayons and coloring book!!!

Most of her downstairs toys are helter skelter around the living room, with a couple bins and baskets for organizing. We clean up about once a day. But her Duplo blocks and crayons get put away after each use. With my prompting, she helps me about 70% of the time, which is awesome. I've been trying really hard to be consistent with this, mostly because I don't want her drawing all over the place and I can't stand stepping on the blocks.

But today, she ran over and signed that she wanted to color, and just as I was getting ready to say, "Let's clean up your blocks first," I looked over and they were already put away in her bin!

I'm so proud and excited!
