Title: I just got whistled at...

by a young man mowing my neighbor's lawn. And I was flattered. I used to be annoyed by that kind of behavior. Have I become one of those desperate middle aged women who relish in the attention of anyone other than my kid or my dog? Ugh, I had better check myself. i'm on the fast track to answering the door for the UPS man in nothing but a gaping robe and giving a handy to the mailman.

    wahoo! And, I had to lol at the last part.

    As a mother of 2, sometimes it's nice to be reminded that even though you usually feel ragged and run down, someone other than your husband thinks your are still smokin hot.

    Hahaha this is too funny. I got whistled at today too (well, it was more of a deep "yeeeeaaahhh!!!") while I was driving. It put me in a good mood for the rest of the day. I feel like hot sh!t.

    It's nice to hear that you're still attractive to somebody besides your H, sometimes. When I first started back on yoga, a middle aged man in my class over heard me talking to H on the phone about ds [bedtime problems], and asked "You're a mother? You look great!". If I wasn't so flattered, I would have been like "WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?". Lol.

    The cat calls used to annoy me but I think it's flattering. As long as its not in a creepy nasty way.
    I was once whistled at by a group of teenage boys as I was on a walk around the high school. I was obviously pregnant at the time so when I turned around to see them the look on their faces was amazing. Their eyes were as big as saucers when they checked out my big belly. It was awesome.

    Haha, these are funny! I was at a wedding WITH my dh and some guy came and sat down at our table to chat and, "you're gorgeous" just slipped out. His eyes got huge and he said, "but I swear I'm not hitting on you, my girlfriend would kill me!" Totally made my night!
