Bacteria vaginosis anyone

I've been dealing with bacterial vaginosis since TTC 2. I was just diagnosed last month and took antibiotics. I think it's back need to see the gyne tomorrow. Anyone else deal with this? All I've read it says it can't affect fertility but how can it not with my ph being all off. I don't think it helps that DH had .5 morphology luckily he has good other numbers.

    So crazy that you are posting this since I think I will be calling the doc in the morning as BV is here for a visit . I had it about 2 months ago and it is back . I have IF issues and I am also wondering if this might be more of a problem then I realize . My ER will be getting a call in the morning and I guess that will be topic of conversation since I have not  a cause for my IF .  Sorry you might have this and thought I would comment since I feel your pain . Hopefully I just get the meds and get this issue over with !

    I'm pretty sure I had this after the birth of my son. I started taking otc probiotics and knocked it out in a week! Hth

    Ugh...the dreaded BV!  I had it about a year and a half about around the time that I realized that we were probably having issues TTC#2.  Knocked it out with antibiotics but it was pretty brutal and awhile before I was diagnosed with something.  What I did learn is that I have a glucose intolerance issues with mild PCOS.  When my sugar levels are high I tend to overproduce yeast and bacteria.  My body as a whole just does much better when I lessen the amount of sugar and have a better balanced diet.  Also I wasn't drinking enough water.  I know everyone is different but that may be worth a shot.

    I've been taking probiotics since first getting diagnosed. I drink a ton of water as I'm prone to UTIs. I eat some sugar not a lot ill look at cutting back too. I was hoping the one round of antibiotics would do the trick. I'm going to ask about DH getting treated too.

    Luckily I didn't have to go in to the gyne they just called in a refill. They did recommend Dh see his doctor and get treated also condoms until we get this cleared up. Of course I'm CD9. Hoping for a late O. Now time to update the RE about all this.
