When can I use my Moby

My LO was born at 37 weeks. When we left the hospital she was at 5 lbs 2.9 oz. At her 2 week appt she was up to 5 lbs 14 oz. She will be 4 weeks this coming Tuesday. At 2 weeks doc said she was too small to baby wear.
How much did your baby weigh before you started using your Moby?

    The insert/guide that came with the Moby says 8 lbs. I believe some moms started before reaching that weight, tho.

    My LO was born 8 lbs 3 oz, so I'm not practical help :/

    from birth, really they put 8lbs to cover their rears but with a wrap its easy to safely secure a tiny squish.  just keep them upright facing you tummy to tummy, keep them high enough to kiss, and don't cover their face and make sure their away is clear.

    My guy was 6 lbs when we left the hispital, he loved the moby from day one! : use it and enjoy the closeness and the freedom of two hands! Lol :

    Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses....
    All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

    My son was born at 7lbs 2oz, then lost the normal amount..not sure how much he weighed at one week old, but I did wear him at one week old when we went to a Christmas market (I would guess he was around 7 and a half pounds).

    DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d

    Ella was under 6 lbs when we left the hospital and I wore her to church when she was a week old.  I wore her tummy to tummy, high on my chest.
