32 week growth US

in July 2013 Moms

I have a 32 week growth US coming up on Monday morning. I can't wait to see my LO. Last US was at 19 week.

I hope everything is fine and get to see the LO.

Did anyone have success requesting a 3D 4D visual at a growth US ?

    My OB office recommends patients go to a medical imaging place for scans and they always get their measurements and data then do the 3-4D stuff after.  We have so many amazing videos and hundreds of 3D pictures.  I think it depends on the place doing the ultrasound because I know a lot of people that hardly get any additional stuff.  Enjoy your ultrasound on Monday!

    They would have done it for us, but she is facing my back and was napping during the u/s and we couldnt get her to wake up, so we never got to see her face.

    I've had 2 growth u/s and more u/s than I can count period and I've never had a 3D/4D u/s at any point.  I never even thought to ask if it was even possible.

    We also went to an imaging place and they switched it to 3D a few times during the scan.  It scared the poo out of me the first time they did it because I didn't realize what it was at first and I'm also not a fan of 3D u/s at all.  Sorry, I just don't like seeing babies still in the womb.  They always look so squished and weird to me!  But it made my Mom really happy so it was a good treat for her.
