Stressed

starting all over againstarting all over again
in February 2013 Moms
Just took my MIL to hospital on Fri for a seriously infected foot, turned out to be flesh eating disease :(( They amputated to save her life. Now I'm worried for the entire family, we were all at her apartment all week long and with the heat everyone was barefoot.

    I'm sure you have looked up everything you can about this but my will-be-MIL had an issue with that too. Unless there are lots of open wounds, and those wounds were in direct contact with her foot, it's very unlikely things will pass to others. Of course talk to your pedi in the case of little one, but, as long as everyone has a functional immune system there isn't a huge likelihood of anyone acquiring this. DD and I are sending prayers your families way. I'm so sorry this has fallen on your family :(
