Out of order teething

DS got his two bottom teeth at 10 months and then top two at 11 months. Since then we haven't seen anything. Well today, I noticed a white mark in the back. Lo and behold its his first molar. Anyone else have a kid that is getting their teeth out of order?

Re: Out of order teething

  • DD got her bottom two teeth at 11.5 months, and nothing since.  But I think she's working on her molars right now, so they may beat the top front teeth.

  • In the beginning her teeth came out of order, but the rest, and she now has 15, came in order.

  • Lauren's are coming in kind of weird! Her top lateral incisors were first. She looked like a baby vampire! Now she has the top and bottom middle four plus four molars. So twelve already!

  • Oli got his first two on top then two on bottom. Then next two on bottom. Now he is getting bottom molars. I'm not really worried about it.

  • DD got her bottom two, the top four and is now cutting all four incisors... no molars yet!

  • Landon got his bottom two, then all top 4, then two top molars, and now the bottom two teeth and his two bottom molars are coming in! Totally odd order!

  • Jackson was the same exact! Bottom two then top two and then I saw he had something in his mouth. I thought it was food so I put my fingers in his mouth to see and lo and behold it was teeth! After the top two molars, his third tooth came in on the bottom and then his third on the top.

  • Reese cut his two bottom teeth at six months. Later that month his two top teeth came through. Next were the two teeth on either side on top and bottom. We stalled out at eight months and he didn't cut anymore until eleven months and it seems like he hasn't stopped since. He started working on molars next (and they were totally random, lol) and then all four incisors. He currently has eighteen teeth and it seems as if he might be getting a little break. I took him to the dentist a few weeks ago and she said that he is already cutting teeth that most toddlers don't cut until after the age of two but it wasn't a problem, it just meant that he would get it over with! I am not going to lie, cutting six molars at once was ROUGH. At this point, I don't care what order they come in I am just glad that they are here! Ha!!

  • Yeah my friend's baby's molars came in before the lateral incisors. Totally normal. K's got a molar on top and bottom on one side but nothing on the other. All good.

  • I had a baby vampire too. Bottom middles, then fangs, then top middle. I think we're backbon track now though.
