Re: HDBD
How many weeks are you? 25w4d
Boy, Girl, Team Green, or U/S date? boy
Milestones/ questions/ vents? I feel sooooo huge this week, like seriously... HUGE!
QOTW: How far from home are your appointments/ place where you will be delivering? Any concerns that you will make it in time? It's a little over an hour away, but based on the full day I spent laboring at home before even bothering to leave the house last time, I'm pretty sure I'll make it.How many weeks are you? 39 weeks...ugh! Still hanging on! I'll hopefully hear that i'm progressing tomorrow...
Boy, Girl, Team Green, or U/S date? Green
Milestones/ questions/ vents? I already vented about my belly getting in the way this morning and spilling water all over myself...:(
QOTW: How far from home are your appointments/ place where you will be delivering? Any concerns that you will make it in time? We moved last year but decided to keep the same doctors so we're now about 45 min away from the hospital (if you drive fast!) but much longer in rush hour!
Bonus: pump pic - I have a pic in my siggyHow many weeks?: 11w1d
U/S: We have our NT scan next Wednesday. So excited but also scared.
Questions/vents: Nothing.
QOTW: My drs office is 15 mins away from the house. The hospital is about the same in the opposite direction. I will most likely be having a scheduled c-section so I don't have to worry about making it in time. If my water breaks early like last time, I will head right to the hospital.
Boy, Girl, Team Green, or U/S date? Boy number 2!
Milestones/ questions/ vents? I found out at my AS yesterday that I have an anterior placenta, but I am still feeling him move a LOT. DH hasn't felt him yet, but he has seen my belly jumping.
My vent is that I think I'm getting symptoms of supine hypotensive disorder, which I had when I was pregnant with Jack.
QOTW: How far from home are your appointments/ place where you will be delivering? Any concerns that you will make it in time? My OBs office is about 10 minutes away and the hospital is about 20. I am not worried about making it in time. Last time I was worried and ended up laboring in the hospital for 22 hours, so I think I'll be ok. lol
How many weeks? Just a day shy of 35/35 with boy #2!
Milestones/questions/vents? My parents had agreed to come help with the baby & toddler care for two weeks around baby's due date, but are waffling - for good reason. Dad may need to have surgery for skin cancer, but the surgery isn't scheduled yet. Until we know, it's hard to know what to do. Grr.
QOTW: How far from home are your appointments/place you'll be delivering? Appointments are about 5-10 minutes away. The place we plan to deliver is literally less than a mile down the street. I'm trying to convince DH that we should just walk there; I thought it would keep me calm and occupied while laboring. He's terrified of me delivering the baby on the street.
How many weeks are you? 11 weeks
Boy, Girl, Team Green, or U/S date? Finding out, but no u/s date yet
Milestones/ questions/ vents? Starting to feel better some days! I still have bad days with m/s, but I can start to see a light at the end of the tunnel...
QOTW: We're 15-20 minutes away from the hospital. I'm slightly worried, given how fast L&D was the first time around (delivered about an hour after we got to the hospital), since I know the second time tends to be faster, but surely we'll be okay... right??
How many weeks are you? 38w 1d
Boy, Girl, Team Green, or U/S date? Team green!
Milestones/ questions/ vents? I am just starting to get more and more uncomfortable. It's not terrible, so I hate to complain, but I am definitely feeling super pregnant.
QOTW: How far from home are your appointments/ place where you will be delivering? Any concerns that you will make it in time? I am only about 15 minutes away from where I'll be delivering. I am attempting a VBAC this time, so I am a little more nervous than last time I think just because of the added uncertainty. If I don't go into labor on my own, it will be a r-c/s because my OB is not a fan of inducing VBACs. I am okay with that, but it adds pressure.
I am also hoping all works out well with LO when the time comes to deliver as far as getting her in the right hands and not disrupting her schedule too much more than it has to be!
Bonus: pump pic
Kinda blurry, but this was last week:
I think I'm 23 weeks.
Green
Vent - I have symphysis pubis dysfunction, which I have complained about time and time again on my new BMB and probably 3 years ago to some degree on this BMB as well. It is annoying and getting worse. Ultimately it is a bit worse this time than last, in spite of physical therapy this time and wearing my belt. It's too bad because I feel like my "enjoyable part of pregnancy" is short and/or non-existent because this started in right as morning sickness was leaving. From here on out it will just get worse, and I have no idea of how we will deal with DS at the end (I'm the daycare pickup & dropoff person, and pretty much the morning & evening person as well.)
Also vent - we were stupid and didn't try to enroll #2 in our daycare when they were doing enrollment in March. We tried like a month later and now the infant room is full for January through the summer. So we're enrolling #2 in another daycare and we might end up moving DS to that one as well so we don't have to do two drop-offs. It will be great to save money but the new one isn't as good. We've mostly warmed up to this idea, but now we're kind of frustrated because DS is not moving up classrooms until the fall, even though his best friends are moving up now (they have a summer starting next week). The next classroom is cheaper and they do cooler stuff, including more outdoor stuff on better equipment, and that's DS's strength (honestly the tuition is not our complaint right now). But because they're holding him back this summer he'll have to do a new class from Sept - Dec and then yet another new one (maybe) at the new center from Jan onwards. I think it would be easier for him to do the transition NOW before the baby comes and not right before he does yet another transition. I'm annoyed they won't move him up.
PGASTL, you look awesome!!
More bump pics from everyone else PLEASE
.
I would post a pic, but I look the same as I did last week when I posted one.
LOL, I promise to post when I actually have one... which honestly is probably going to be pretty soon.
:::popping in:::
you are all so cute!
this! i'm so excited for everyone!
ps...i know we've all talked about this before but ... there are a few of us who had VERY long first labors and almost gave birth in our cars the second time around. i felt like pushing an hour after my first contraction. i kept thinking i needed to go to the bathroom...and my doula said -, "get in the effing car woman, you're in transition". i was in serious denial. pay very close attention
yeah for babies!!
THIS IS WHY I'M FREAKED OUT! I didn't have a long first labor at all, so I'm afraid this one may be even faster... but I still don't want to get to the hospital too early. So, yeah, it may be doula time.
