This is probably a dumb question

How do you judge when to adjust the height of the crib base?

Is there any reason not to just set it at the lowest level once baby is able to stand?

Re: This is probably a dumb question

  • 1st level is for the newborn stage. 2nd level is for when the can sit up. 3rd is for standing. But ever baby is different you'll know when to adjust the level.

I'm only 5' 6'' so I'm not super tall, but I don't want to have to screw with it too many times and I know furniture like this doesn't do well with being unscrewed and rescrewed many times. I have it on the first level now, so does it matter if I just adjust it to the bottom level when baby starts sitting?
  • We did 1st level till she started sitting up (around 5 or 6 months) and then went right down to the lowest. It was so much easier that way than having to mess with it again in a few months.

What's a crib? lol jk My daughter has pretty much never used hers. By the time we put her in it we will have it lowered all the way.
