happy but definitely awake

So we are in this four month w wakeful period, lo is awake and has been for 7 hours oh my. She is very happy and cute talking up a storm so I guess I should be grateful she's happy and not crabby. Can anyone report being on the other side of four month wakeful and their baby has returned to sleeping again?

    My little man just turned 5 months old today. The past two weeks he was up every two hours to eat. He's never been a good sleeper... but I used to get one 4-5 hour stretch and then up every 2-3 hours after that. Last night he STTN from 9pm-6:30am!!! But I'm not calling it an end to the 4MW just yet... I don't trust it yet.

    The wakeful never really messed with his daytime schedule. During the day he's never really slept much, except for the occasional sleepy day. But he's always happy and alert and does go down for 3 short naps at regular times.

    My LO is a week shy of 5 months too and the past week she just started what I'm calling the 4 month wakeful period. I can't complain too much because she is only waking at 5am instead of the 6:30a/7a. She has never been a good napper so no change there really
