DD is finally getting it! Yay! I think she loves her bedtime routine as much as I do.
What does your bedtime routine look like?
Here is ours (times are a *very* rough estimate!):
6:30pm: Nurse
7pm: Bath
7:30pm: PJs, Swaddle, Cuddle
8pm: BM Bottle
8:30pm: Binky & Bed!
DD usually sleeps until 4am, then she is up for the day - looking forward to stretching this out until at least 6am soon!!
Side note and bit of a XP from BF Board - LO has now realized the bottle is part of her nighttime routine and refuses the breast only at her bedtime feed! I was a little hurt, but actually am liking that she is recognizing a bedtime routine. The only time she gets a bottle is at bed (unless she is away from me), she loves nursing all.day.long so I am embracing her night time love of the bottle.
Re: Bedtime Routine poll
We've been really fortunate to have the boys in a steady bedtime routine since 4 or so months.
-Every 2-3 nights: Bath time
-6:30/7 pm: DH tandem bottle feeds the boys so I can get dinner together
-Wash faces, hands, chests (if it's not a bath night)
-Take turns playing and getting into overnight diapers and pjs so Mom and Dad can get brother ready too
-Mom reads "Going to Bed Book" (with lots of silly voices and motions!)
-Lights out, sound machine on
-Prayers and all four of us give hugs (each of the boys hugs us and love to hug and kiss each other)
-We put the boys in bed awake, they roll onto their tummies, and go to sleep! Sometimes, they'll "talk" to each other or roll around in their cribs, but they rarely need us to settle them down.
-DS1 sleeps until 7ish when he'll start "talking." DS2 has been struggling lately and usually wakes screaming around 4-5 am. He's pretty inconsolable if we don't pick him up, so I'll usually let him sleep on my chest in bed until DS1 wakes up.

Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!
We have family dinner at 7, bath at 7:30 every other night, book and pjs, nurse at 8, lay down at 8:30 drowsy but awake, asleep in minutes. She usually sleeps until 6 on weekdays, 7 on weekends with 1 or 2 wake ups overnight where daddy and I take turns going in to lay her back down and tell her it's night time and to get some sleep.

Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
We don't do baths every night but in general our bedtime looks like this:
5:30 feed everyone, Maren gets baby food
6:30 bath for Sully, if we're doing baths
6:45 pj's, books and bed for Sully while the other parent bathes Maren
7:00 if I'm lucky, Maren takes a bottle (sometimes she is too hungry to wait and so she'll have a bottle right after her baby food but she seems to sleep longer if she has a bottle later.) Baths for Shannon and Quinn.
7:30 Maren goes down and it's pj's for Shannon and Quinn
7:45 Books and bed for Shannon and Quinn
8:00 Sometimes I'm in bed this early!
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
I'm a lucky one cuz DH does bedtime routine all by himself! We don't do bath in the evening as baths tend to make M really jazzed up, so I bathe him 2x/w during the day.
Routine goes like this:
6:30-7p Family dinner (M gets solids)
7-7:30p DH reads a book or two, then bouncy time (I clean up after dinner)
7:30-7:45p nurse in living room (DH gets nursery ready - lay out PJs, close curtains)
7:45p I bring M upstairs to his room and hand him over to DH.
7:45-8p (all DH) changes diaper, washes face, lotion, PJs, sleepsack, "going to bed" story by Sandra Boynton, 2 songs (Puff the magic dragon, and Edelweiss), then 'night night'
M is usually asleep by 8-8:10p

Our IVF miracle, Baby Boy M, arrived on 11/8/2012!
Bottle at 9:30, change of diaper and swaddle at 10 and down for the night.
I keep trying to convince DH not to wake H up for the 9:30 bottle and just let him sleep, but nope, DH isn't convinced H will still sleep for a long time. H gets a bottle between 6 and 7 and never takes a full bottle at 9:30.

same here!
although LO is starting to fall into a routine it's far from perfect.....
typically she has a long nursing session starting btwn 6 and 7, or will cluster feed.....she falls asleep btwn 7 and 8 (depending on when she nursed).....and usually sleeps until we move her into the bassinet around 1030-11. This always wakes her up and I use that opportunity to nurse. She goes back down 1130-12 and will sleep until anywhere from 3:30-5:15..... If its early enough she will go back down until 6 or 630 and then daddy takes her and I go back to sleep.
as you can see this is just beginning and there's lots of room for improvement. I actually use the term routine rather losely here. Hahah.

Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
6:00pm: Dinner as a fam (we all eat regular human food and drink cow's milk)
7:00pm: Baths (every other night we throw both kids in the tub at the same time) if it's not bath night, we all play with toys together or go for a walk if it's nice out, play in the backyard etc etc
7:30pm: Books in Mom and Dad's bed
8:00pm: KIDS IN BED.
9:00pm: I'm sleeping.
10:30pm: My husband is sleeping.
REPEAT.
Me, too! DS and DD#1 have their routine. DD#2 just gets put into bed at some point after eating around 7-8pm. No bath, books, etc - just eat, swaddle blanket (arms sometimes in, sometimes out), and down.
For my 2 older ones, we do dinner at 5:30-5:45, bath at 6:15, jammies, brush teeth, 2 books, 2 songs, and bed with their sound machines on. They are usually in bed by 7.
Dinner between 5:30/6pm. She gets a sippy with milk at dinner, which she takes a long time to drink, but she's usually done with it by 7pm. Weaning from the bedtime bottle was tough, but we're finally there!
Bath (every other day) around 7:15pm/books and pjs
Bed between 7:30-8pm nightly.
She sleeps until I wake her at 5:30am on weekdays and until about 7am on weekends, we hear her start playing with her violet and/or seahorse in her crib. She will also throw her paci out of the crib and yell "UH OH!" so we know she's up
