I just wanted to get a feel for when your LO started walking. My LO has been standing and pulling up for about a month or so now and likes to cruise the furniture.
I know no one can see into the future, but does it seem like he'll start walking soon? Is there anything else that I can do to help him along?
Thanks!
Re: When did walking start?
LO's been crawling since Mother's Day weekend, but she would rather hold hands and walk whenever she can. she started pulling up on things as soon as she could crawl to them and working on letting go the last couple days.
some kids just move to walking faster. a friend of mine has a one year old who can walk, but chooses not to. he'd rather crawl.

He does stand up on his own without holding anything and most people tell me that means he will walk soon, but I take it all with a grain of salt. I know he's going to walk when he's ready, so I just enjoy the last bit of peace before he's running! Ha!
This was DD. She took her first steps a few days shy of 10 months and was walking well at 11 months.
DS took one step between pieces of furniture this week, but he doesn't really stand on his own yet, so I don't think he'll really be walking for awhile. He can get most places by crawling or cruising anyway.
Charlotte just hit 9 months yesterday. She pulls up and does some tentative cruising, but we are a long way from walking.
DD2 is no where near cruising yet.
DS#1 started walking (like 30 or more steps) at 9.5 months old.
DS#2 will probably be another month or more
~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~
