Just came across this name on FB. I've never heard of it before. Have you? Maybe it's Elsa Beth and I read it wrong? Or maybe they misspelled it and it's supposed to be Elisabeth? WDYT?

I've noticed this trend on fb. People change the spelling of their name so it's easier for people to find them. I have a friend Elise barrette Her name is else bar.

The other reason is when people interview for jobs. If someone searches her name it won't pop up. Hope this helps :

I would think that would make it harder

Also, Mosy, Elisabeth is a legitimate spelling of Elizabeth (German, Dutch, variant of English)

Apparently it really is a rare form of Elizabeth. Personally, I wouldn't choose it because it would be too easily confused. It looks like the parents couldn't decide between Elizabeth or Elspeth.

Elsabeth is a rare English variant of Elisabeth. I'm not a fan but it is legit.
