One year go tonight my water broke and 24 (long) hours later my beautiful girl was born. I cannot believe how quickly this year has passed!

As happy as I am to have this beautiful, smart little girl I can't help but be a little sad that my tiny baby is growing up. We are one and done so there will be no more little babies for me which makes me cherish each day that much more. I was looking at a year worth of video and pictures last night and know just how blessed I am to have her.

Tomorrow I will not only be celebrating Em's first birthday. We will also be celebrating our one year of breastfeeding. My goal form the beginning was to breastfeed for a year and on the eve of that one year we are still going strong.

i would like to thank all of you ladies for all your support and friendship over the last year and a half. There have been many times when you ladies were the only ones I could talk to and the only ones who understood. 

i love the support this board provides and hope you all continue to come back here and share your May baby milestones and pictures, as well as any new babies you have. I've never met any of you but I appreciate your friendship nonetheless.

Apparently I am feeling a little sappy tonight but I mean it in all sincerity :)

    Aww, sweet post.  I agree!  I don't post often, but there is a real comfort I have that comes from knowing this board is here.

    Thanks to all you mamas, too!  Congrats on making it to a year, and happy birthday to all the little ones! :-)

    I can't tell you how many times I've had a question, went to this board, and someone has just asked that specific question.  Besides all you ladies and your babies being so darn sweet, I really appreciate this board for the wealth of knowledge it has provided me in all my mommy newness.  Thanks, Ladies!
